COLLEGE SEARCH CALCULATOR

The College Search Calculator is designed to give you an idea of the amount of student loans you will have when you are searching for colleges. This student loan calculator estimates some of the student loans you may qualify for, and uses average net prices to give you an estimate of how much loans you will have. More information on average net prices can be found here. Additionally, you have the option to increase the average price paid annually by entering a percentage into the “Annual Increase” box. Typically, prices increase by 3-5% per year. A private loan interest rate is required in case you do not have enough money in aid for future years. Generally, private loan interest rates can range from 6-10% or higher depending on credit scores. More information on private loan interest rates can be found here. This calculator helps to ensure that you are applying to colleges that you should be able to afford.
